Booking terms
By booking an experience at Finca Amor Platánico you accept these terms. They cover how a booking is confirmed, how payment works, the cancellation window, what happens if the activity has to be suspended, and how the Canary Islands resident discount is verified.
How a booking is confirmed
Your booking is confirmed once payment is completed and you receive the confirmation email with your booking code. Until that email arrives, your place is not guaranteed.
Places are held for fifteen minutes while you complete payment. If payment is not completed within that time, they are released again.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes. Payment is made by card through Stripe; we do not store your card details.
Canary Islands residents get a special price. When booking you must state how many people in the group are residents, and this will be verified with ID on the day of the visit. If it cannot be verified, the difference is payable at the farm.
Cancellations and changes
If you cannot make it, message us on WhatsApp or by email as soon as you know and we will sort it out with you. The sooner you tell us, the easier it is to rearrange the group and refund you.
If you need to change the date, message us on WhatsApp or by email as soon as possible and we will try, subject to availability.
Cancellation by us
If for reasons beyond our control (adverse weather, incidents on the farm or other circumstances) we have to suspend the activity, we will offer you another date or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Right of withdrawal
Under Article 103.l of the Spanish consolidated Consumer Protection Act, leisure services tied to a specific date or period are excluded from the fourteen-day right of withdrawal. The cancellation policy described above applies instead.
During the visit
- This is a working farm: please follow the guide’s instructions at all times.
- We recommend comfortable closed shoes.
- Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Tell us about allergies or intolerances when booking so we can adapt the tasting.
- Please be on time: groups are small and we set off at the scheduled time.
Photographs
We occasionally take photographs during visits. If you would rather not appear, just tell us and that is absolutely fine.
