What is Amor Platánico?

Amor Platánico is a working banana farm in Tazacorte, La Palma, that opens its gates to share the essence of the Canary banana. We offer small-group guided tours where visitors get a close look at our work, our history and our land.

We have not built a stage set. We show you the farm where we work, with the real crop and the work behind it, and you taste it before you leave.

Because everything depends on the farm and not on the weather, we run all year round, low season included.

Our commitment is to responsible and sustainable tourism, understood as a way of travelling that respects the natural surroundings and the farming that sustains them.

  • Accessible to everyone

    Adapted toilet and parking at the entrance. Ask us if you need any adaptations.

  • In several languages

    The visit is explained in Spanish and English, and you can follow the whole thing in your own language with a QR code, German included.

  • Local, zero-kilometre produce

    We work with what is grown right next door: La Palma cheese, mojo, island wine and, of course, our bananas.

  • Small groups

    We run visits in small groups so that every person has a close and unique experience.

We are in Tazacorte, La Palma

Anyone visiting the Banana Museum or heading up to see the Tajogaite area has another stop here on the same route, and ends up staying a whole day in Tazacorte.

Canary Islands residents get a special price: €35 instead of €45, shown with ID on the day of the visit. Children go free up to age 3, and children’s rates start at €20.
