Accessibility

We work to make the visit enjoyable for everyone. We have an adapted toilet and parking right by the entrance. The route runs over soil and fallen leaves, mostly flat. If anyone in your group has reduced mobility or any particular need, tell us when booking and we will tailor the visit.

What to bring

  • Comfortable closed shoes: the ground is soil and fallen leaves
  • A cap or hat and water, especially in summer
  • Light clothing: there is shade under the banana plants, but also humidity
  • An appetite for trying things

What to see nearby

The farm fits well into a full day in Tazacorte. Anyone visiting the municipal Banana Museum or heading up to see the Tajogaite volcano area has another stop here on the same route.

Puerto de Tazacorte, with its black sand beach and its restaurants, is a few minutes away.

Languages and groups

The visit is explained in Spanish and English, and you can follow it in full in your own language with a QR code, German included. We run visits in small groups so that every person has a close and unique experience.

Canary Islands residents get a special price, shown with ID on the day of the visit.

Children go free up to age 3. After that, €20 for ages 4–11, €30 for ages 12–15 and the adult rate from 16 years old.

Parking and arrival

There is free parking right by the entrance, so there is no need to look for a space or pay for parking. You get here by car on a surfaced road, and the last stretch to the farm is easy.

It is worth arriving a few minutes before the agreed time: the visit starts once the group is complete, so nothing is lost from the route. If you are running late or have got lost, message us on WhatsApp and we will guide you in.

How long it lasts and what the route is like

The Amor Platánico visit lasts 2 h 30 min. You walk among the banana plants along a prepared route, stop to hear the explanation of the crop, taste local produce sitting at the table, and there is time left for photographs and for the rest area.

It is not a demanding walk: the path is mostly flat and always under the shade of the leaves.

Book your visit

Groups are small, so it is worth booking ahead. If you would rather ask first, message us on WhatsApp.
